We can't fulfill our mission without your help. Through cooperation with the various agencies and organizations that address the root causes of crime in our community, we hope to make a real and lasting impact on the quality of life in Grayson County.

Through revolutionary programs dealing with substance abuse and criminal addictive behavior, partnerships with local churches and tried-and-true educational programs such as GED and WorkKeys, we are working to give inmates a better chance to succeed when they walk out of our doors.

Our partnerships with agencies like the United States Marshals Service, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the United States Bureau of Prisons and the Kentucky Department of Corrections allow us to bring much-needed jobs to our community at no cost to the local taxpayer.

Our staff is filled with dedicated professionals who strive to keep you safe and provide a level of care to our inmates that meets and exceeds state and federal mandates. We accomplish that through rigorous training and a common sense approach to problem-solving.

We have a lot to be proud of here at the Grayson County Detention Center and we look forward to expanding the role our facilities play in making our community a safer, cleaner and more prosperous place to live.
